About the Journal

Academic Journal System (DEMO)  is an international, multidisciplinary journal for researchers and clinicians that focuses on radiology, molecular imaging, and various imaging modalities. The journal is a scientific, open-access periodical published by an independent, unbiased, and double-blind peer-reviewed process. Editors welcome the submission of original research articles, systematic reviews, case reports, editorial notes, and pictorial essays on all aspects of radiology and nuclear medicine.

The journal aims to publish reviews, pictorial essays, technical notes, case reports, and original research of the highest scientific and clinical value in all fields of radiology and nuclear medicine.

The editorial and publication processes of the journal are guided by the standards set forth by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and National Information Standards Organization (NISO). The journal adheres to the principles of transparency and best practices in scholarly publishing.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public promotes a broader global exchange of knowledge. Authors and copyright owners grant free access to all users for the articles published in Radiology and Molecular Imaging.

The Open Access Policy is based on the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). By “open access” to peer-reviewed research literature, we mean its free availability on the public internet. This allows any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles. Users can also crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

All published content is available online, free of charge at www.radamol.com. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND) International License.

Digital Archiving Policy

Digital preservation encompasses a series of processes and activities aimed at ensuring the long-term, continuous access to information stored in digital formats. All electronic content (websites, manuscripts, etc.) is stored in three different sources. Content on a server is online and accessible to readers. A copy of the same content is stored as a backup on other servers. Should a server fail, other resources can be brought online, and the website is expected to be available within 24 to 36 hours.

Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their articles on personal and institutional websites after publication, provided that they include full bibliographic details and a link to the original publication.

Publication Frequency

Academic Journal System (DEMO) publishes three times a year, in April, August, and December.
